I found my passion for design in high school when I took a visual communications course. In that course, I was launched into a new realm of art — the realm that rewires your brain to identify every font ever used, overanalyze every piece of packaging and compliment everyone’s graphic tees. I had never really thought of those things as art prior. Design is such an expansive field, stretching across many mediums and produced in many styles. It is practical and subtle yet influential and empowering. It is all sorts of things, really. Throughout college, I experienced what graphic design means to me - to serve, to grow and explore.
